Abstract |
Distributed environments are becoming more popular as these technologies such as Mobile and Ad hoc networks, aim to enable a large scale cooperation for resource sharing framework. Secure authentication is the challenging issue for such environments. We studied the role of Threshold Cryptography in securing the MANETs, revealing the authorization process using threshold digital signature, proxy signature and multi-signature in ID-based and CA-based frameworks. In this paper after taking a review of various proposed schemes, problems and attacks for MANETs and their solutions, we conclude some issues and discover some future challenges |
